First-Generation student scientist pursuing opportunities to gain knowledge in healthcare, leadership, and while representing my community on-camera.
Pursuit of ScienceSince being recognized as a Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) Program Scholar during my second year at LSU, I have been given many opportunities to engage in science in profound ways. I worked in Dr. Fatima Rivas's Research Group with LSU's Department of Chemistry. I have also done previous research at LSUHSC-NO with the Louisiana Cancer Research Center where I was a Summer undergraduate researcher. For more hands-on clinical experience, I was a Patient Care Representative at The Urgent Care facilities in New Orleans.

I served as the Co-Founder and President of Medicine Education and Development for Low-Income Families Everywhere (MEDLIFE) at LSU. I was also an LSU Discover Undergraduate Research Ambassador. I graduated LSU being a medalist as a Distinguished Communicator and Undergraduate Researcher.

RepresentationRepresenting my community plays a big role in my daily life and I am blessed to be part of different communities that signify passion, perseverance, and promise. I have been given many opportunities to proudly represent my Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community in profound ways, with one of the biggest being publicized. One of my life goals is to help the low-income population and other underrepresented groups with the resources needed to sustain a basic living.
